The Dead Sea

Wow! Has it really been 5 months since my last post? I suppose this is what being a doctoral student will do! I have been thinking of the Dead Sea today. This is a sea that has no exit; it pools all of its resources for itself. The sea reminds humans that giving is just as (if not more) important than receiving. If all we do is receive , we are not living life to the fullest. The Dead Sea is "dead" because excessive salt prevents fish and plants from living in the sea. We must remember that when it comes to relationships, finances, and professional and personal goals, both giving and receiving are essential. Isn't it interesting how when we give (time, love, money, attention), we receive so much more?

My first Wordle

Hi everyone,

Today is an important day; it is the day of my FIRST wordle! Yay! This is also my first blog outside of my NCSU one. My wordle is based on a project about using 21st century skills in a college-level English class (I have taught quite a few of these). Check out my wordle (and wordle.net to make your own) and let me know what you think:)
